Day 1
Amboseli National Park
We’re thrilled that you chose to go on safari with us, and
now is the moment when all of the planning pays off and
your safari dreams begin to come true. You’ll meet our
team, we’ll explain what happens next and answer any
questions you might have. Then all that’s left to do is go and
start this safari trip of a lifetime together.
Amboseli National Park is where many safari travelers fall in
love with Kenya. That’s because this park packs a lot into a
small space. Towering over it all is Mt Kilimanjaro (5895m),
Africa’s highest mountain: Kili may be in Tanzania, but the
best views are from Amboseli. Wildlife highlights might
include lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, zebras, giraffes,
wildebeest, and, best of all, big-tusked elephants that you
can get really close to. It’s this combination of spectacular
views and wildlife that really elevates Amboseli into the elite
of Kenya’s wildlife parks.
Get a taste of Kenyan life in Nairobi, with its wildlife,
restaurants, nightlife and shopping.
You’ll love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we
take you out to explore on your evening game drive. This
time of day is when both predators and prey are most active
and it can feel as though anything could happen at any
moment. This is when you’ll most enjoy being on safari.
You’ll be staying at Praro Amboseli Camp while you’re in
Amboseli National Park. It’s a good place to return to at the
end of your safari day

Day 3
Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha is the busiest and highest of Kenya’s Rift
Valley lakes. The lake has a fascinating history, as a
weekend escape for the wealthy during the colonial era.
These days, it serves a similar purpose for a refreshingly
diverse cross-section of Kenyan society. There is lots to do
along the southern shore, and keep an eye out for hippos,
zebras and giraffes.
Come with us on a walking safari, where you’ll enjoy the
thrill of stepping out into the African wild with an
experienced guide. Although you won’t be watching the
animals from a vehicle, it’s still very safe, and it’s a priceless
opportunity to feel really connected to the animals you’ll see
and the landscapes you’ll explore in a whole new way.

black and white rhinos, but there are other highlights as well,
including the possibility of seeing lions (some even climb
trees here), leopards, flamingos and endangered Rothschild’s

Reserve at first sight, and it’s really easy to do. Here you can
go looking for big cats, elephant, giraffe, hippo, buffalo,
wildebeest, zebra and more (including black rhinos in the
Mara Triangle). Birders come because more than 500 species
have been recorded in the Mara. And best of all, you get to
do it all across one of Kenya’s best examples of classic safari
terrain. The Masai Mara is a wonderful world of endless
savannah grasslands, acacia woodlands and rolling hill
country rising to the escarpments that line the reserve’s
perimeter. The Mara also lies in the heart of Maasai country
